Women’s Health Series – 6 Steps to Whole Health
Women's health class word cloud

Women’s Health Series – 6 Steps to Whole Health (formerly Women’s University) is a one-of-a-kind new personal development series.

It’s much more than a workshop. It’s a community. It’s a movement. There’s never been anything like this in Omaha, where local, professional women share their inspiring personal stories of struggle, growth and change.

This not-so-ordinary, 6-week Monday evening workshop offers a sampler platter of tools to motivate, inspire and encourage you to find whole health and wellness.

The 6-week series offers the following classes presented by local professionals:

  • February 3 – Herbal, Natural and Practical Self-Care with Mo Horner, Registered Herbalist
Simple, safe herbal alternatives for common women’s health concerns
  • February 10 – Breath, Movement & Stillness with Sarah Brandt
Tai Chi, meditation and breath techniques for physical strength and mind/body balance
  • February 17 – Healthy Relationship Strategies with Nancy Dennis, Certified Life Coach
Tools to transform communications at home and work
  • February 24 – Balanced Sexuality for Women with Sara Wilch, Licensed Social Worker and Counselor
Explore the relevance of sexuality to a happy, healthy life
  • March 3 – Art & Creative Expression with Lisa Hofmann
Shine up your life and health by learning to engage your creativity
  • March 10 – Real Food for Real Women with Jennifer Wilford
Discover how food heals and simple steps to bring ‘real food’ to your table.
